Wear-resistant sheets can be applied as clad plates or for production of prefabricated components

  • Sheets are manufactured in accordance with TU 24.33.30-001-71464401-2018.
  • Wear-resistant sheets can be cut by plasma, laser or hydraulic cutters.
  • Plate thickness varies from 10 mm to 20 mm, depending on assigned tasks. Provided that, thickness of wear-resistant layer might vary from 3 mm to 10 mm and more.
  • Rolling and bending of bi-metal sheets is possible.
  • Assembly of plates, their joining and fixing is performed using bolts (pins) or by welding.
  • Hardness of build-up layer is 60 to 65 HRC.

WEAR-RESISTANT LINING

LINING PROVIDES A SOLUTION OF FAST WEAR PROBLEM

In a manufacture of lining, sheets are used as alloying components, providing high hardness and wear-resistance of built-up metal in intensive abrasive wear conditions in conjunction with impact loads, tungsten carbides can be used. Cast tungsten carbide is harder and works much better then martensite, iron carbide or chrome carbide in wear and corrosion conditions in presence of high impact loads. Presence of non-melted particles of hard ceramic metal alloy in built-up layer represents a protective barrier against abrasive particles and sufficiently increases wear resistance of the details.

The specific process feature of wearing of build-up layer containing cast tungsten carbide is stage-by-stage wearing of certain components of the composition. With that said, reinforcing particles with greater resistance to wear took upon themselves the heaviest load created by destruction forces, protecting the groundmass from wear.
